Celebrating the 2nd June

Bhutan is known for its beauty, the name it has fashioned, the fame it had earned… the Champion of the Earth. It has embraced nature as the ultimate source of peace, happiness, and wealth, despite providing clean life sustaining air and water. Considering the significance of nature, the Fourth Druk Gyalpo had stressed the need for conservation of nature for all times to come and accordingly its importance are now enshrined in the constitution of Bhutan. Thus, 2nd June is observed as the Social Forestry Day coinciding with the Coronation Day of our beloved Fourth Druk Gyalpo.

When the nation observes the Social Forestry Day with 100 women determined to beat the record set by the men at Takila in Lhuntse, Yadi CS staff and students undertook their major plantation programme of the year planting hundreds of saplings (banana, tiger grass, fruit trees, walnut, and bamboo) in and around the school surroundings.

Teachers Day-2016

“Teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, caliber, and future of an individual. If the people remember me as a good teacher, that will be the biggest honour for me”- A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

As the summer morning sun squeezed through the darkened realm of cloud, the little hamlet in Yadi glittered with gold. The morning of May 2, 2016 was the most beautiful moment to take hold of. The crooked privileges culminate to privy, pristine and friendly atmosphere. The exclusive and the advanced teachers are praised on 2nd May. It is a Big Day for the nation.

Parent-Teacher Meeting -2016

April 22, 2016: the school is in full swing with its numerous programs in hand. The incessant downpours haven’t deterred the toil in their farms, yet relinquished their days for the cause of their children. The law enforcers have found their way out to reach their message to the unheard. The Principal, Parents, Police (PPP) and the teachers met with the mission for change; educate, exchange the views and to reach the messages and policies to the unheard.
